Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Asset Management Analyst, your primary duties will include:
  • Gathering and preserving precise Software Licensing data in repositories to support budgeting, software compliance, inventory management, contracts, and cost analysis.
  • Collaborating with Software Owners to oversee enterprise License true-up and reconciliations.
  • Providing assistance during software publisher audits and aiding in dispute resolution.
  • Recommending strategies for audit defense initiatives.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities through software re-harvesting and license optimization.
  • Responding to inquiries from software owners, end users, managers, developers, and team members regarding specific IT Software Asset Management information.
  • Staying updated on new and revised software license models and options for key manufacturer products.
  • Actively evaluating risk and cost reduction opportunities, making recommendations to Software Owners and Software Asset Management leadership to enhance the software asset portfolio.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Asset Management tools and technologies, with experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro being essential and Flexera experience being a plus.
  • Understanding of Software Asset Management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of product use rights for major publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.
  • Awareness of hardware technology and configurations, including virtualization.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range:
$65-$75.43 per hour.
