Tenet-AZ Region, a leading healthcare provider in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Clinical Coordinator for our Med Surg department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating functions and activities related to a single departmental function, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively implement change and manage departmental budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate scheduling efforts for unit RNs
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration
  • Develop and implement plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor staff
  • Supervise other members of the healthcare team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • A minimum of two years relevant clinical nursing experience, with Level III NICU experience preferred
  • Management experience, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred
  • Licenses to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/Department
