Enovis Surgical provides a comprehensive range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive surgeries, alongside the necessary tools and digital health technologies required in today's evolving healthcare landscape.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Team Lead to oversee a designated Manufacturing Process Area. This role entails guiding a team of associates and managing processes to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of products throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can inspire, motivate the team, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the direct line manager or supervisor. The Team Lead will serve as a support to the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment for team members.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or violations.
  • Conduct safety orientation training for the department.

Quality Assurance:

  • Accountable for compliance with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Oversee area Layered Process Audits.
  • Manage Non-Conforming Material Reporting within the department.
  • Ensure training is completed, and new employees are fully qualified.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by implementing Enovis Growth Excellence (EGX).
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional departments to provide insights on corrective actions for abnormal conditions.
  • Encourage effective cooperation across departments and lead through changes.
  • Provide recommendations on process design and implement training programs as assigned by the supervisor to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Leadership:

  • Guide and motivate a team of associates by supporting daily management of the department.
  • Ensure daily operational objectives are met and escalate any irregularities.
  • Participate in area inspections to uphold 5S standards and ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform effectively.
  • Promote teamwork and communication across shifts.

Inventory Management:

  • Prioritize and complete work orders, managing WIP staging within the work area.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate WIP limits.
  • Promptly identify and address inventory discrepancies and shortages.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 5%.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
