Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient interviews, take vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
  • Assist with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and spirometry
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
  • Administer immunizations and medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Enter data into our electronic medical record system
  • Provide patient education and support
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family practice, neurology, pain management, or internal medicine
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
