medical assistant to join their team.

Job Details
-Position: Medical Assistants- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA ONLY) or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT certification plus associates degree)
-Location: Greensboro, NC
-Specialty: Pediatrics
-Hours: M-F; 8a-5:30p
-Additional schedule: required to work every 5th or 6th weekend from 9a-2p (Overtime provided)
-Pay: $17-21/hr
-Temp to Hire
-Paired with 1 Provider

Duties
-Assist healthcare providers in performing examinations and procedures.
-Take patient histories and vital signs to ensure accurate medical records.
-Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing necessary support.
-Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
-Perform basic life support techniques when necessary.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
-Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
-Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
-Support emergency medicine protocols as needed.
-See 20-25 patients a day

Requirements
-Certification as a Medical Assistant is required (AAMA or AMT)
-Associates degree in Medical Assisting
-Experience in family med, urgent care, primary care, or pediatrics preferred
-New grads welcome to apply
-Previous experience in an outpatient setting is advantageous.
