- Electrician-Licensed
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a licensed electrician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
- Install, calibrate and maintain gas monitoring equipment as well as sensors and devices
- Observe the functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Repair faulty equipment or systems.
Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.Pull wiring through conduit.
Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.
Requirements:
- Valid CT Electrical license. Valid Driver's License. Prior Commercial/Industrial experience required. . Must be able to work independently, be self-sufficient, and able to make field decisions.
