The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Virginia is seeking an outstanding academic physician-scientist to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will provide excellent clinical care, advance research in women's health, and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
About the DivisionOur division is comprised of 6 physicians, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, a pharmacist, and 6 Clinical Research Coordinators. We provide a full range of care in gynecologic oncology, including inpatient and outpatient care, surgery, chemotherapy, and subspecialty consultations. The Division of Gynecologic Oncology oversees the Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology and actively participates in the Residency Program in OB/GYN.

Qualifications- Education: MD or equivalent/PhD by appointment start date
- Licensure: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Research experience at the junior level
- Published research in clinical and/or translational science
- Evidence of a national reputation through published research, committee work, organizational involvement, etc.
