PET/CT Tech Job Description

About the Role:

Texas Oncology is seeking a skilled PET/CT Tech to support our Plano West location. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no call or major holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, including injection of radio-pharmaceuticals and IV contrast.
  • Assist with procedure scheduling and front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure accuracy of patient demographic information and report distribution.
  • Collect clinical data for patient follow-up and develop educational information.
  • Provide patient protection and conduct daily quality control measures.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
  • General knowledge of patient scheduling and billing systems.
  • CNMT and/or ARRT certification and state licensure where applicable.
