The Sales team is a diverse group focused on partnering with enterprise brands through our growing portfolio of advertising products. We build trusted relationships to drive campaigns that add value to members while delivering results for partners.

Your Role in the Team

You'll be part of the Sales team at Nextdoor, responsible for developing and building a pipeline of new business and driving revenue growth through the sales cycle. To succeed, you'll need a deep understanding of brand storytelling, comfort with data-driven insights, experience with social and native advertising, and an extensive network of national brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and managing a pipeline of new business and existing business
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas
  • Developing integrated brand campaigns that clearly achieve brand objectives
  • Solving problems efficiently using existing tools and solutions to drive unique value for partners
  • Providing feedback to internal teams to drive product innovation
  • Pursuing new prospects and sales opportunities aggressively
  • Buidling relationships with key decision-makers at complex national corporations and agency partners
  • Participating in events, trainings, and team-building activities
What You'll Bring to the Team

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 6+ years of experience in advertising sales
  • A history of securing new business partners exceeding ~$1M quarterly
  • A proven ability to identify revenue-driving opportunities and create solutions that address them
  • Experience with Salesforce and prospecting tools like LinkedIn and WINMO
  • Advanced sales, communication, and presentation skills
  • A deep understanding and experience with social and native advertising
  • Comfort with data-driven targeting, insights, and measurement solutions
  • A successful track record of developing strategic relationships with marketers and brands
  • An excellent understanding of branding and performance marketing campaigns aimed at measurable advertiser success metrics
  • Established relationships with top marketing decision-makers at leading brands and agencies selling digital advertising
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits

At Nextdoor, we offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $85,000 to $135,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. This includes a variable incentive component (commission) based on your achievement of sales-related goals and objectives.

We also provide a meaningful equity grant with equal quarterly vesting, starting within the first three months of your employment.

In addition, we cover 100% of your personal monthly premium for health, dental, and vision insurance, offering a OneMedical membership for concierge care. Our hybrid work environment provides flexibility for valued employees.
