Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowboard Instructor to join our team at Grand Targhee Resort. As a Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching adult and children's lessons in accordance with established teaching standards and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach snowboarding lessons to adults and children, adhering to established teaching standards and methods.
  • Actively promote Grand Targhee Resort's programs and services, providing exceptional guest relations at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Attend department meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Level 1 PSIA certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Snowboard Instructor at Grand Targhee Resort or another PSIA school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences. The employee will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme cold.
