We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Director to lead our treatment program at Monte Nido Eating Disorder of California. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall clinical quality of our programming, including continuous improvement, staffing, and fiscal responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical therapists through mentoring and coaching, and assist with interacting with insurance payers.
- Model normalized eating habits by eating meals to completion with clients and staff while working at mealtimes.
- Conduct individual therapy, group therapy, or family therapy as needed.
- Participate in discharge and aftercare planning with the treatment team.
- Provide safe, affirming, and empathetic support to clients across multiple populations.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Working knowledge of admissions and intake, Utilization Review, and 3rd party or insurance payers.
- Previous experience with Joint Commission and regulatory standards compliance is desired.
- Ability to manage budgets and utilize KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is preferred.
- Experience in an Eating Disorder program or other residential behavioral health setting is highly valued.
- Must hold a Master's degree in a clinical discipline, at minimum, and be actively licensed (or license eligible).
