Job Summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working in a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for identifying and addressing care gaps, working with providers to improve quality metrics, and supporting the development of quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address care gaps in our member population
  • Work with providers to improve quality metrics and close care gaps
  • Support the development of quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with no restrictions in state required to practice
  • 3+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and data analysis
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UnitedHealth Group experience
  • Optum or UnitedHealthcare experience
  • Community & State and/or Medicare & Retirement experience
