Job Title: Clinical Specialist - Behavioral Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Specialist will provide clinical services in residential, vocational, or in-home settings, working closely with individuals, families, and caregivers to develop and implement personalized support plans. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct assessments, observations, and functional analyses to inform support plan development.
  • Provide direct support to individuals, including behavioral interventions, skill-building, and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Two years of experience in a clinical role, preferably in behavioral health or a related field.
  • Training in behavior modification techniques and/or experience providing behavior management treatment.
  • Knowledge of specialized populations, such as individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, or mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
