Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that promotes resident participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to ensure seamless communication and coordination of resident care and activities.
  • Supervise and train staff on dementia approaches and activity programs to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of our CSL Signature Service Programs to Sweet Memories and Assisted Living residents.
  • Ensure compliance with state-mandated Assisted Living Facility regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding resident involvement in activity programs.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a healthcare field or certified activities professional by a recognized accrediting body.
  • At least 1-2 years' full-time work experience in an activities program in an adult care setting or similarly related experience with specialized memory care.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work effectively with technology and maintain or assist in maintaining our SMILE family engagement/calendar creator platform.
  • Valid driver's license to transport residents to activities.
