SBA Lender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SBA Lender to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As an SBA Lender, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain account relationships by offering financial advice and counsel on SBA loans and related services.
  • Identify and approach potential and existing customers to develop new business opportunities and cross-sell additional bank services.
  • Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of SBA loans, ensuring adherence to all lending policies and procedures.
  • Manage ongoing customer accounts and develop strategies to expand loan portfolios.
  • Stay informed about SBA loan programs, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in SBA lending within the local market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving high production goals and meeting lending targets.
  • Strong track record of expanding loans, client relationships, and cross-selling bank products.
  • Familiarity with SBA loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
  • Excellent underwriting skills and a thorough understanding of SBA loan guidelines.
