Patient Access Representative II

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will be responsible for performing scheduling, registration, and patient pre-admission and admission functions. You will also be responsible for obtaining complete and accurate patient demographic information, employing proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques, and adhering to financial and cash control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide world-class customer service while completing full patient registration at date of service.
- Adhere to financial and cash control policies and procedures, thoroughly explain and secure Hospital and patient legal forms, and scan Protected Health Information.
- Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, enter data in scheduling systems, and provide customers with appointment instructions.
- Educate patients about patient financial liabilities, employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques, and perform Hospital cash reconciliation and secured payment entry.
- Secure medical necessity checks/verification, verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and eligibility, and complete assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year in a Customer Service role.
- 0-1 year administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
- Some college coursework is preferred.
