Job Summary

This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work under general supervision, providing technical support and assistance to physicians during Electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, stimming, and circulating with all Electrophysiology procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment.
  • Provides care, assessment, and instruction to patients prior to, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintains all pertinent information related to procedures and prepares necessary documentation.
  • Assists with the training and orientation of new staff members within the department.
  • Participates in departmental quality control and quality assurance initiatives and Joint Commission-mandated educational programs.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a semi-restricted and restricted environment, with frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, blood, and bodily fluids. The role requires standing for prolonged periods, lifting patients and heavy equipment, and working with potentially hazardous equipment.
