About the Role

The Electrophysiology Technologist I acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborating fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients. This role promotes a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel, focusing on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Qualifications
  • Education and certification in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field
  • Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required
  • Minimum three years of interventional experience preferred
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) preferred
  • No documented corrective action over the last year of employment
  • Experience with precepting new employees on at least one occasion preferred
