The Ideal Candidate:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living tasks: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other ADLs
  • Prepare residents for meals and activities: Assist with mealtime, snacks, and activities such as exercise, games, and outings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship: Engage in conversations, listen to concerns, and provide comfort and reassurance
  • Respond to resident emergencies: Use the emergency call system to respond to resident needs and ensure their safety
  • Document resident care: Record resident interactions, observations, and any changes in their condition

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED: Required
  • 80-hour Personal Care Training Certificate: Must be willing to obtain
  • Previous experience working with seniors: Preferred
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members
  • Physical stamina: Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents safely
