Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of accountants responsible for forward pricing rate proposals, incurred cost submissions, government customer and corporate reporting, contract closeouts, budgets, forecasts, and audit support.
  • Create and maintain project-level accounts.
  • Ensure accurate postings, allocations, and payments.
  • Review monthly project status reports.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to address financial issues.
  • Analyze consolidated financial results for all projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in financial reporting, financial systems, and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Government contracting experience preferred.
  • Mindset for continual improvements preferred.
  • Able to travel 20-30% required.
  • Must be able to interpret and apply company guidelines, SOX, GAAP, and government regulations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $92,000 and $142,000 per year. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive and a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
