Job SummaryThe nurse manager practices in the framework of the mission, vision, and values of ECU Health and maintains 24-hour accountability for unit operations. The manager is a clinical leader with a focus on producing excellent patient outcomes, patient and family engagement, workforce management/development, and clinical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with physicians to promote safe, timely, efficient, effective, and patient-focused unit operations.
- Manage staff and resources to achieve clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in nursing.
- Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Three to four years related experience.
