The Director of Warehouse Operations at NFI Industries is responsible for coordinating regional administrative functions and enforcing corporate policy, procedures, and operating systems for Regional Operations Management staff. This role requires a strong leader who can manage production standards, plan headcount needs, and budget management, while also mentoring and developing staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of managerial and operations experience in a high-volume distribution environment, with a proven ability to measure and perform against internal expectations, industry standards, and safety-related programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate regional administrative functions and enforce corporate policy, procedures, and operating systems
Manage production standards, plan headcount needs, and budget management
Mentor and develop staff, including recruiting, hiring, and training
Collaborate with internal leadership and team members to achieve company goals
Plan and implement new/upgraded warehouse and office operating systems, including computer systems and manual systems
Manage physical inventory and reconciliation, and interact with customers of key accounts
Develop and coordinate special events within the region, and travel to other warehouses and participate in department or company meetings as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
At least 10 years of managerial and operations experience in a high-volume distribution environment
Proven ability to measure and perform against internal expectations, industry standards, and safety-related programs
Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience working in KRONOS systems and MS Office
Ability to work in varying facility conditions, with occasional duties including sales calls and travel
