Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Kimbel Mechanical Systems, LLC.
As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for empowering our field team by sourcing materials wisely, packing effectively, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide the right material, in the right quantity, at the right cost, at the right time.
- Work closely with Warehouse team, Project Management, Suppliers, and Field Staff to ensure timely delivery of materials to support operations.
- Collaborate with Estimating & PM teams to specify job-specific materials.
- Control material costs and overages/shortages for projects.
- Engage with suppliers to anticipate material issues in advance.
- Negotiate pricing and availability of project-specific materials with suppliers in coordination with the Warehouse Director.
- Warehouse material purchasing experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism.
- Strong Computer competency (MS Office, Excel, email, etc.).
- Ability to learn new computer skills.
- Friendly demeanor.
- Ability to make common sense decisions.
- Ability to work independently within the scope of the position.
