About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Kimbel Mechanical Systems, LLC.

As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for empowering our field team by sourcing materials wisely, packing effectively, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide the right material, in the right quantity, at the right cost, at the right time.
  • Work closely with Warehouse team, Project Management, Suppliers, and Field Staff to ensure timely delivery of materials to support operations.
  • Collaborate with Estimating & PM teams to specify job-specific materials.
  • Control material costs and overages/shortages for projects.
  • Engage with suppliers to anticipate material issues in advance.
  • Negotiate pricing and availability of project-specific materials with suppliers in coordination with the Warehouse Director.
Requirements
  • Warehouse material purchasing experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism.
  • Strong Computer competency (MS Office, Excel, email, etc.).
  • Ability to learn new computer skills.
  • Friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to make common sense decisions.
  • Ability to work independently within the scope of the position.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Willing to serve others.
