Director of Rehabilitation

Autumn Care of Fayetteville is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Fayetteville, NC.

About the Role:

The Director of Rehabilitation will be responsible for organizing, developing, managing, and directing the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department. This includes seeking to return residents to optimal physical function and facilitating achievement of resident, physician, and therapy goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of residents
  • Supervise and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapist granted from the state of North Carolina
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation management, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
