Job Summary

The Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patients and provides exceptional care and service from initial triage through patient discharge.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, verify identity, and explain procedures to be performed.
  • Take vital signs, prepare equipment, and assist providers during treatment and examination.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of ordered tests and procedures.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions, and notify supervisors or providers as needed.
  • Conduct referrals and service pre-certifications as required.
  • Document nursing history and physical assessment of patients.
  • Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or MA experience required.
