We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Professional to join our team at New Season Treatment Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Responsibilities- Administer medication pursuant to physician order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
- Conduct daily inventory of medication supply and maintain absolute accuracy in daily accounting.
- Assume responsibility for safeguarding medication inventory and ensuring proper disposal of medical waste.
- Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation in the absence of a cashier position.
- Receive and verify incoming medication shipments and advise necessary staff of any discrepancies.
- Observe patient demeanor and seek guidance from the Medical Director or Registered Nurse when an issue or concern is noted.
- Promptly communicate patient issues or concerns to the Medical Director or Registered Nurse.
- Administer lab tests as required, including patient vital signs and TB tests when necessary.
- Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Medical Director.
- Assist the Medical Director in collecting data for the history and physical as required.
- Maintain absolute control, tracking, and confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork.
- Active nursing license in the state in which the clinic is located.
- Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, and general nursing knowledge.
- Basic mathematics skills and computer literacy.
- Minimum of 1-year direct patient contact experience.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The work schedule is flexible, with a preference for Monday through Friday with one or two Saturdays per month. The training period will be 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
