Clinical Systems Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Systems Coordinator to join our team at Trios Health. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will be responsible for the configuration, testing, and development of our Hospital Information Systems (HIS) clinical modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, test, and analyze HIS clinical modules to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Provide on-going software and end-user support to hospital staff, including education and training on system use.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, Medical Staff, CNO, ACNO, and Clinical Department Directors to enhance clinical efficiency and quality of patient care.
  • Work closely with other Systems Analysts to ensure optimal performance of interfaced systems and reduce impact on end-users.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical systems policies and procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
  • Provide front-line support during go-live of new clinical systems and assess super user needs.
  • Promote awareness of data validity and security.
  • Review vendor product updates and upgrades and perform system maintenance related to master files and clinical screen designs.
  • Assess education needs of nursing staff and provide ongoing clinical systems education.
Requirements:
  • Current Washington State RN License
  • Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of HIS clinical system modules
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
