Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Program Coordinator to join our Fetal Cardiology team at Children's National Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating nursing care and services for patients and family members in specific healthcare specialty encounters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate nursing care and services for patients and family members in specific healthcare specialty encounters
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to resolve health concerns
  • Develop and implement suitable, evidence-based nursing interventions
  • Provide health education based on the patient/family learning preferences
  • Coordinate mechanisms across systems, institutions, and community to provide continuity of care for wellness needs or health concerns
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years Nursing experience. Minimum of one year recent pediatric experience in a comparable setting
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a pediatric setting
  • Leadership experience in a clinical setting
