As a Health Information Management Technician with Christus Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in preparing and scanning medical records into our electronic system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer-generated floor reports to identify discharged patients and retrieve medical records from various areas of the hospital.
  • Prep and scan inpatient, day surgery, observation, CLI, ER, and RCR medical records in discharged date order into our One Content system.
  • Analyze CLI accounts on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in other areas of the department as needed, providing support to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • High degree of proficiency in numerical filing and ability to learn terminal digit filing.
  • Two years of experience in a Medical Record Department with computer experience.

Work Schedule and Type:

Work schedule and type will be determined by the department's needs.
