Key Responsibilities
  • Stacking and Organization: Understand and implement various pallet configurations based on different box and stack unit types.
  • Utilization of Supporting Materials: Effectively use corner boards, pallet wraps, and straps to ensure secure and stable pallets.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized working area, adhering to company standards.
  • Time Management and Safety: Begin work on time, complete tasks efficiently, and work in a safe manner.
  • Training and Development: Participate in safety and job training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adaptability and Communication: Be able to read and write basic English, communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, and adapt to changing demands and instructions.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced, cold, and wet environment, with temperatures ranging from 38F to 50F.
  • Food Safety: Maintain food-safe behavior and adhere to company standards.
  • Physical Demands: Lift, push, pull, and grasp while standing and kneeling, with the ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are preferred but not required.
