Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Scientist/Sr. Scientist to join our Research and Development team. As a key member, you will be responsible for translating molecular insights into predictive models and classifiers for diagnostic and prognostic oncological tests. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and validating bioinformatics analysis pipelines and disease risk models to support our product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement bioinformatics analysis pipelines for genomics data, including machine learning and statistical methods.
  • Develop and validate predictive models for prostate cancer risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate bioinformatics insights into diagnostic solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in genomics and bioinformatics, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field, with 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in statistical methods and algorithms applicable to genomics data, including machine learning and Bayesian inference.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Experience with NGS data analysis, including RNA-seq, exome-seq, and methylation analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
