Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bioinformatics Scientist/Sr. Scientist to join our Research and Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating molecular insights into predictors and classifiers for diagnostic and prognostic oncological tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and validate bioinformatics analysis pipelines and disease risk models to support product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical, Regulatory, IT, and Medical Affairs, to drive project success.
  • Design and implement statistical methods and algorithms applicable to genomics data, including machine learning, Bayesian inference, regression analysis, and cluster analysis.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in R/, Python, and other programming languages used in data science and bioinformatics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in genomics and bioinformatics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field, with 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in statistical methods and algorithms applicable to genomics data, including machine learning, Bayesian inference, regression analysis, and cluster analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of R/, Python, and other programming languages used in data science and bioinformatics.
  • Experience with NGS data analysis, including RNA-seq, exome-seq, whole-genome and targeted sequencing, and methylation analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
