Position Overview:
N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions LLC is in search of skilled Healthcare Coding Specialists to join our team on a direct hire basis. This remote position provides an excellent opportunity to leverage your coding skills in a collaborative and encouraging environment. We welcome dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering precise and efficient coding.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Precisely code inpatient records for acute care in accordance with established coding standards and guidelines.
- Examine and interpret clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing practices.
- Engage with healthcare professionals to address coding discrepancies and inquiries.
- Keep abreast of the latest coding regulations and standards.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare coding practices and confidentiality protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certifications: Valid RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, CPC, or CIC certification is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in acute care inpatient coding is required.
- Education: An associate degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and capability to work autonomously.
