Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Professional Coder to join our team in a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia coding and be able to accurately code claims to ensure compliant billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient charts for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure billing codes comply with ASA/AMA guidelines and payer updates
  • Audit and correct previously coded claims to ensure accuracy
  • Meet daily coding production and quality standards set by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid CPC certification by AAPC
  • Minimum of 3 years of coding experience, anesthesia coding is a plus
