POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Vice President will oversee the operations of ambulatory surgery centers within the Ohio and Indiana regions. This role encompasses the management of operational functions, financial performance, and partnership relations across multiple facilities. The RVP is tasked with driving growth in case volume and EBITDA, as well as the recruitment and retention of surgical professionals. Additionally, the RVP will actively manage physician equity within the partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Ensure that each facility's Administrator/CEO develops and executes an annual business strategy, with RVP oversight on initial planning and quarterly updates during Board and Partnership meetings.
  • Case Volume Growth: Facilitate the recruitment of new physicians and enhance business from existing clients by engaging with health systems and IPAs.
  • Service Line Expansion: Identify and implement new service lines to meet market demands.
  • Leadership Development: Provide training in HR practices, financial analysis, and effective communication with healthcare partners.
  • Partnership Engagement: Attend and contribute to Governing Board and Partnership meetings, focusing on equity management and succession planning.
  • Culture Initiatives: Lead the deployment of USPIs EDGE and Leadership initiatives, ensuring a strong Culture of Safety and Leadership through action plans and surveys.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred candidates will possess a Master's degree in business or healthcare administration, or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years in healthcare business development, operations, and finance is required, along with proven success in growth strategy formulation and people management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analytical and presentation purposes.

Note: Compliance with federal, state, and local vaccination laws is mandatory for this position, and candidates may be required to undergo regular testing if an exemption is granted.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 75% travel may be necessary, including both vehicle and air travel. Candidates must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
