Move Management Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Enterprise Moves Section Supervisor at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to ensure the safe and efficient movement of APL property, including facilities, equipment, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Enterprise Moves Section to ensure the successful execution of move management and surplus property processes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and APL guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure the effective execution of move management and surplus property processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of move management and surplus property processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure the successful execution of move management and surplus property processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience in move management and surplus property.
- 6+ years of experience in leadership and management roles, with a focus on move management and surplus property.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and lead change, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
- Experience with move management and surplus property software, including Tririga's Move Management.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.
