Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to drive business growth and expansion in the Southeast region.
  • Collaborate with Operations Teams: Work closely with local, regional, and national operations teams to secure new business opportunities in charter schools throughout the Southeast.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify potential growth areas within the assigned geographical locations.
  • Prepare and Present Sales Reports: Develop and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and formal presentations to executive leadership and charter school board directors.
  • Understand Charter School Funding: Develop a comprehensive knowledge of charter school funding structures, budgetary processes, and recruitment.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales strategies that align with the education sector and drive business growth.
  • Network and Stay Up-to-Date: Attend educational conferences and events to network with industry professionals and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Analyze Sales Data: Analyze sales data, market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Meet Sales Quotas: Meet or exceed annual new sales quota.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, education, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience in Sales: Five plus years of experience in sales, with solid knowledge of education administration practices, special education/related services, and K-12 procurement practices.
  • Sales Methodologies: Proficient in sales methodologies, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and sales analytics.
  • Business Software: Proven ability to use standard business software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and develop innovative sales strategies.
