Key Responsibilities- Lead Risk Management Initiatives: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to our programs and operations.
- Oversee Risk Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring to ensure that our programs are operating within acceptable risk parameters.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that risk management strategies are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Plans: Develop and implement plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure that our programs are operating within acceptable risk parameters.
- Provide Risk Management Guidance: Provide guidance and support to program managers and staff on risk management best practices and procedures.
- Experience in Risk Management: Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of risk assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop and present complex risk management strategies and plans.
- Knowledge of USDA Programs: Strong knowledge of USDA programs and operations, with the ability to develop and implement risk management strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
