Job Summary

Mundy Buddy Inc. is seeking a skilled Theatre Artist to develop and perform in educational productions aimed at teaching vital life skills. The ideal candidate will have a flair for performance and experience working with diverse groups in a setting that focuses on teaching life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and perform in educational productions that align with the organization's educational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Life Skills Course Coordinator to refine performances and ensure they meet the needs of students and participants.
  • Engage with students and participants to foster an interactive learning environment and promote learning through performance.
  • Participate in rehearsals and provide feedback to refine performances and ensure they meet the organization's standards.
  • Assist with the creation of scripts, materials, and educational resources that support the organization's educational initiatives.
  • Work closely with other team members to integrate performance art into broader curriculum initiatives and enhance educational programming.
  • Attend regular meetings for program development and evaluation to ensure the organization's educational initiatives are meeting their goals.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the values of the organization, including a passion for teaching and inspiring others through the arts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of acting experience, preferably in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • A background in education, drama, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Must be adaptable and able to perform in varied environments, with a willingness to travel locally as needed for performances and workshops.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and demonstrate a passion for teaching and inspiring others through the arts.
