The Auditorium Theatre is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Usher to provide exceptional guest services during all events and functions within the Theatre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests to the Theatre in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scan tickets, verify validity, and provide accurate directions
  • Escort guests to their assigned seats in a timely and efficient manner
  • Monitor the work area for cleanliness and ensure clear pathways
  • Proactively attend to guests' needs, including questions, directions, and information regarding the performance and Theatre policies
  • Respond to emergencies and guest-related issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor the audience during events to ensure compliance with event policies, such as camera usage
  • Assemble and distribute programs to guests
  • Collect and return lost and found items to guests
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in ushering within a large Theatre environment
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and extreme temperatures
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and loud environment
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Strong spirit of optimism and collaboration
