**Job Summary**

NHS Management Services is seeking a qualified LPN Staff Development Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring orientation programs for new employees, reviewing nursing exception reports, and participating in quality assurance meetings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement and monitor orientation programs for all new employees according to policies, procedures, and Federal/State requirements.
  • Review nursing exception reports and compare them to the schedule and hall assignment.
  • Post daily staffing requirements per Federal and State Regulations.
  • Complete and maintain accurate working schedules in compliance with State Staffing Regulations and facility budget.
  • Participate and attend monthly QA meetings and daily morning meetings.

**Requirements:**

  • Current LPN licensure by State required.
  • Experience in long-term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.
  • At least two to three years of nursing experience.
  • Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes.
  • Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents.
  • Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
