We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator. This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for nursing education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement in-service educational programs that meet current federal, state, and local standards.
- Assist in creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and training programs for each department.
- Conduct employee training, in-services, and educate staff on nursing policies and procedures.
- Assist with new-hire orientations and provide guidance on job duties and performance improvement.
- Identify and address problem areas, and encourage staff participation and involvement through effective communication and presentation of programs.
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Alabama.
- Must have two years of supervisory experience and training staff.
- Must have knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and laws governing long-term care.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
