Core Responsibilities:
- Examine and validate loan application documents, including credit assessments, income verification, and property evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to company protocols, as well as state and federal laws and underwriting standards.
- Engage with clients, real estate professionals, and other parties to collect necessary information and resolve any challenges.
- Work in conjunction with underwriters to secure prompt loan approvals and address any conditions or supplementary documentation needed.
- Draft and scrutinize loan closing documents, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all loan transactions and communications.
- Keep informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices to uphold compliance and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bi-Lingual - Spanish and English
- Demonstrated experience as a mortgage loan processor or in a comparable position, with a solid grasp of mortgage lending procedures and standards.
- Familiarity with pertinent regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and FHA/VA guidelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, adept at managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in mortgage processing software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
