Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the General Manager in managing and scheduling the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry, and Sales teams.
  2. Execute company and brand initiatives, policies, and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement in quality, service, and operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and federal, state, and local regulations.
  4. Develop and implement cost control strategies to meet budget guidelines through forecasting, labor control, and P&L performance.
  5. Recruit, hire, train, and lead employees to meet and exceed service and quality goals.
  6. Coach, counsel, and motivate employees as needed.
  7. Manage property inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure proper stock levels are maintained within budget.
  8. Participate in the preparation of annual budget and other financial reporting throughout the year.
  9. Ensure safety procedures are in place for the protection of employees, guests, and Red Roof assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in hotel, restaurant, or retail management.
  • Profit and loss and budgeting experience strongly preferred.
  • Sales background and rate/yield management experience preferred.
  • Relocation may be required, and assistance is provided.
  • Must have an attitude and passion for success.
  • Independent business mind preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work without direct management.
