The Assistant General Manager at MCR Hotels is responsible for assisting the General Manager in ensuring guest satisfaction, efficient hotel operations, and achieving hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with MCR standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Supervise and support hotel departments, including Guest Services, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.
- Communicate and correct deficiencies in hotel departments.
- Assist the General Manager in developing managerial and hourly employees through training programs.
- Participate in Manager on Duty coverage as scheduled.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Effectiveness in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved software.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Progressive experience in the hotel industry, including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments.
