We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join our team as a Full Time Maintenance Technician I at Easterwood Airport Management.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that delivers exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on airfield equipment and facilities.
- Operate a variety of light- and medium-duty motorized maintenance and construction equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on auxiliary aircraft/airport equipment.
- Perform airfield painting and metal fabrication tasks.
- Attend meetings with departments and staff to discuss maintenance needs and goals.
- Use computer system to make invoices and log work completed.
- Promote safety in all activities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- High School degree and at least 18 years of age.
- Positions available for all experience levels.
- Experience in Maintenance services is preferred.
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Proficient in computer use and office software.
- 1-3 years of experience in landscaping and mowing of commercial properties is preferred.
- Experience in truck, tractor, or heavy vehicle operation is preferred.
- Preferred: First Aid and/or fire fighting training.
- Must maintain a valid State of Texas driver's license.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, lift moderate to heavy loads, push, pull, stoop, dig, utilize many different equipment configurations, and be outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Will utilize personal protective gear in a noisy outdoor environment.
