Position Summary

The Regional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will oversee nursing operations across three hospitals within St. Mary's Health Care System in Georgia. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CNO will provide clinical and administrative guidance to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care that aligns with professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Uphold and exemplify the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Health in all actions and decisions.
2. Collaborate with the senior leadership team in strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
3. Develop and implement nursing's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals for patient care services.
4. Participate in budget development and ensure effective resource management.
5. Establish and maintain performance measures to evaluate nursing services and outcomes.
6. Ensure the recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff to promote a culture of shared leadership.
7. Work with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer to enhance patient safety and quality through evidence-based practices.
8. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Current State Registered Nursing license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration; Doctoral education preferred.
• Minimum of five years of executive or director-level leadership experience in an acute care setting.
• Advanced knowledge of nursing practice and healthcare technologies.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
