Job Title: Regional Chief Medical Officer

Trinity Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Chief Medical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical staff and hospital leadership for our regional health management (RHM) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the medical staff and hospital leadership for the RHM system.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Clinical Care at Trinity Health to bridge the clinical arena of the RHM to the development of Trinity Health standards of performance and policy.
  • Supervise and manage the medical affairs division to ensure achievement of objectives in a cost-effective manner.
  • Provide leadership to all of the RHM management teams and serve as a resource to them for problem-solving and physician input.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited medical school and completed an accredited residency program in a medical specialty.
  • Board certification in a field of specialty and agreement to maintain such Board Certification through tenure of employment.
  • Graduate from an accredited university with a Master's in Business Administration, a Master's in Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix reporting environment.
  • Proven leader with a minimum of 15 years in clinical practice and 5 years of executive leadership experience.
