We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Lead to join our team at Simera. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of our projects, overseeing the development process, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to drive technical excellence and innovation, contributing to the overall success of our technology initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance on technical challenges and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Oversee the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements.

Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.

Drive the development process by setting technical standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing hands-on support to your team as needed.

Monitor and evaluate project progress, performance metrics, and quality assurance processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure successful delivery.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the technical capabilities of the team and the quality of the software.

Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments, ensuring alignment and transparency on technical decisions and project status.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

English C1/C2

At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role.

Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and robust software architectures.

Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to the tech stack used by the company, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of guiding teams through challenging projects.

Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools and practices.
