Technical Lead for Traffic Infrastructure

Airtable is a no-code app platform that empowers people to accelerate their business processes.
We are looking for a Technical Lead to found our Traffic Infrastructure team.
The team will ensure that traffic across Airtable's network and routing infrastructure is managed in a reliable, flexible, and secure manner.
The ideal candidate will have experience with service mesh, traffic engineering, and/or cloud networking.
They will also have a deep understanding of AWS and/or Kubernetes.
The Technical Lead will be responsible for developing the vision, identifying high-impact early projects, and delivering them.
They will also support the other engineers on the team and ensure high-quality delivery.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software engineering and 2+ years as a technical lead of a multi-person project or team.

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience.
Our total compensation package includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is $260,000 — $300,000 USD.
